Come Celebrate Chaka-Khan-Ukkah!

Hello East Siders!

We hope everyone had a good Christmas, Hannukkah, Kwanzaa, Solstice, Yule, New Year's, etc.

Now it's time to top off the holiday season - East Side style!  This coming Saturday, January 8th, you and yours are cordially invited to our first CHAKA-KHAN-UKKAH celebration!

Chaka-Khan-Ukkah is a celebration of the end of the holiday season, the beginning of a new year, and of course, the life and music of Chaka Khan.  This is a pot-luck event, so bring your favorite dish to share or refreshments.

We'll also have a "white elephant" gift exchange, so please bring anything you can re-gift.  Anyone wishing to participate in the gift exchange contributes $5, and all proceeds will go to Atlanta's YouthPride.

Chaka-Khan-Ukkah will go down at the Clarkston Woman's Center at 3912 Church Street in downtown Clarkston, this Saturday, January 8th, from 6:30 'til 9pm.   Come meet new friends, have a good time, and help us build an even more fantastic East Side community!

For more information, just e-mail us at EastSidePride@yahoo.com

See you Saturday!!
